Why do they even have a drive through if it takes over 15 minutes to get your food from it? Oh and no one is in front of you and all you ordered is a sandwich and a drink?? I don't know who runs this location but I've stopped here 3 or 4 times both inside and drive thru and each time is terrible. I only went because of its proximity to my job but I will not give them my money another time. I can't believe this location is still in business. The service is terrible and they often forget at least one thing in your order. Really, how difficult is your job?

I don't know why this place doesn't close at 8:30 p.m. Because they never have anything in stock afterwards.... They clean their grill during business hours so they don't have fries.... They don't have most of the breads after 830...rude manager too.

Horrible. Just horrible. Waited for twenty years for a tubbys to come to walled lake. Finally came back to town and got one. Stopped in for a tubby famous on white no onion no pickle. They screwed it up. Ok, no big deal. Went in and told them. The guy looked completely confused but I explained again what is like. Tubby famous on white no onion no pickle. Stupid me figured there no way to possibly mess it up with me standing right there. Get my sub and head back. Got halfway home and went to take a bite. It's still with onion and tomato on WHEAT!!! I'm allergic to wheat bread. So I drove all the way back and the manager said, well, we are out if white bread. You didn't bother to tell me?? I could have ended up in the hospital for God sake. So disappointed. Only reason it's getting one star is because yelp makes me give it something.

This location is closest to me and the most convenient. But I will never go back. I have been inside twice, and I will not go back. The guy who appears to be a manager or in charge (fairly young man so I'm not sure if he is a franchise owner or not). he was there both times. He has an AWFUL attitude, absolutely does not care about he is doing with his time what so ever. He doesn't care about the customer, and he will not accommodate you. He answers questions in an annoyed/sarcastic manner. The place does not look very clean either, and the employees look miserable. Anyway, it's very unfortunate that this is the closest Tubby's to me, as I love their foods, but I shall not ever step foot in that location again until I see a banner expressing that it's "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT" because that place is just too negative for me.

I go in there and some guy is taking my order but he looks like he is on serious medication. He can barely keep his eyes open. I place my order and grab a seat and its taking some time for this to go order... like 20 minutes. So I go back up to the counter and its this guy again... .he looks at me and goes.... "Welcome to Tubbys may I help you?" Im like WTF? The 420 clinic is one block to your left... what gives man? I got my food finally from someone else... I took the bag and started walking out the door at last. I turned and looked and the whole staff is up at the front of the counter. Now they are watching television... totally out of it. I haven't gone back since.

My wife and I wanted something quick so we went back to the Walled Lake Tubby's. We had hoped it would be better than our last visit. One change is to outside the parking is swapped around. personally I don't know if its any better than before. Its still a pain in the butt to maneuver my big SUV and attempting to park in the handicap spot I almost hit the door trying to get out. They still have all this open space that's unused. I know its not a big deal obviously but its just weird there is space not being fully utilized. One thing I wonder is either this location is not a full regular franchise or maybe independently owned. They no longer offer the $5 footlong dely style subs anymore. Also the two guys there did not seem to know what to do with the Coupon I had either. I opted for 2 large Tubby's Famous Subs. Normally we always get them cold, but I opted for grilled this time. My wife still prefers them cold, however I like how the grilling brings out some of the flavor and I enjoy the melty cheese. I asked for extra Famous Sauce on both, I was happy to see they obliged the request by slathering extra sauce on the sub and giving us 2 extra tubs of the sauce in the bag. At some Tubby's locations I've visited I remember the Famous came with Pepperoni. However not so with this location. I realize Tubby's is not Subway. But when I spend $6 for a foot long Sub I kind of expect to get decent variety of ingredients... I watched the kid put on a sliver of chopped onion, then a bunch of shredded lettuce, and they sliced 2 slices of tomato put the 4 pieces on there and called it done, save for the boatload of sauce. Its a little bit depressing that to get More than a smidgen, a person is required to shell out Extra cash for stuff like peppers, or mushrooms, or even extra of the items that already come on the subs - onions, tomato. I know the economy is rough all over. But when restaurants skimp, some customers, like me tend to stay away. Overall I like the location of this Tubby's, its only 2 miles away and I love that they have a drive thru. Still they have a growing up period I think. They show potential.
